Delete your Griyon account

For the Griyon app by Griyon Private Limited. You can also do this in the app: Settings → Your data → Delete account.

What happens

Your account closes immediately: you're signed out everywhere, and your profile, listings, tales, comments and reviews disappear from Griyon for everyone.

• Changed your mind? For 30 days, just sign in to the app with the same phone number or email and choose Restore — everything comes back. During those 30 days the number can't be used for a new account.
• Kept out of sight, then erased: Indian law (IT Rules 2021) requires us to keep account details for 180 days after an account is closed. Nobody can see them. After that your account, everything you posted and your photos and videos are erased for good. Messages you sent stay in the other person's chat, shown as from "Deleted user".
• Records we must keep by law for longer (for example for tax or fraud prevention) are kept only as long as required. See our Privacy Policy, section 12.

After 30 days your phone number and email are free again; signing up with them starts a new, empty account.

Can't sign in?

If you no longer have the phone number or email on your account, write to hello@griyon.com with the subject “Delete my Griyon account”, your username and the phone number or email the account used. We'll confirm the account is yours and delete it.
